Atari Superman Pinball Machine!

Up, up and away! Superman battles the evil Lex Luthor to save Lois Lane in this beautiful wide-body pinball machine from Atari! They only made a few pinball machines in their short time in the industry, and Superman is considered one of the best they ever made - probably because it was designed by the legendary Steve Ritchie, designer of High Speed, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Black Knight and many other classic games!

More popular than ever, Superman fans are snapping up the last few machines in good condition, so the value of this game is only going to skyrocket further in value over the years - this may be your last chance to buy this machine of this quality with NO RESERVE! The highest bidder will own this machine!

Get this game into your basement, rec room or gameroom and watch your friends line up to play!

This particular game is in good ORIGINAL condition after having been played very little. It has cleaned up beautifully! The playfield shines like new with no bare wood anywhere! In addition, the Atari games are known to often be in non-working condition, but this game has been gone through completely and is fully working! Not many fully working Superman machines left!

Most games of this vintage have long worn down to bare wood, but this one is complete and very nice! There is only some minor wear around the inserts, and some checking in the paint, which you can see in the photos. But otherwise the condition is amazing!

The backglass not only has incredible artwork, it is in PERFECT condition! Not a mark on it or any tarnishing in the mirrored portions. Easily the best feature on this game!

And the displays are nice and bright!

The sides are a little worn with some small touchups:

The front of the cabinet has a bit of wear, but has no HASP HOLES! Very rare to find a game without them!

Plus I will throw in extra lamps and rubber to make sure this game stays nice, bright and trouble-free for a long time:

Here's what I did to clean this game up:

  • Steel ball highly polished in my vibrating polisher
  • Replace ALL lamps
  • Clean, polish and wax ENTIRE playfield - TWICE!
  • Remove and clean ALL plastics by hand
  • Polish ALL metal parts
  • Adjust ALL switches
  • Replace ALL rubber
  • Clean ENTIRE cabinet
  • Clean backglass, back and front

There are over 60 HOURS of work into this game to make it look this good! This game is from my personal collection and if I didn't need the money I wouldn't be selling it! Atari machines in this condition are very difficult to find!

Here are lots more pictures to show the condition of this game (sorry if some of them are a bit washed out due to the flash - playfield is very shiny!!!)

I ship games via Internet Freight and charges generally run in the $200-$300 range depending on location. There is a $60 charge for the palletizing and wrapping of the game for shipping to cover materials. I will gladly ship the game any way you choose, but Internet is generally 20-30% cheaper than other carriers! There is no duty on games shipping into the US.

I accept payment via money order, bank draft or PayPal and payment must be made within 7 days of auction close. This game has been thoroughly playtested, but because games get banged around during shipping I have to sell them as-is - however, if there are any problems I am happy to help via phone or email! If you would like to see the game prior to making a bid, please send me an email to make an appointment. Game is located in downtown Toronto, ON, Canada.

    Thanks for looking!
