Don't Have a Cow, Man! NO RESERVE!

1990 Data East Simpsons Pinball Machine

Join the whole Simpsons family - Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Marge and Homer - and the entire town of Springfield in the pinball judged the number one game at the 1990 AMOA show in Las Vegas!

This pinball machine is one of the most popular titles from Data East pinball! Everyone loves the All-American family, and this game would be excellent for a home with small children! And it's being sold with NO RESERVE!

Get this game into your basement, rec room or gameroom and watch your friends line up to play - up to 4 players at once!! It has a lane-change skill shot, pop bumber Cooling Towers that move when hit, two sets of drop target banks, One huge ramp that scores multi-millions, and a double ball lock - shoot two balls into the lock to start 2-ball Multiball, lock a third ball and start the ultimate Multiball!

This particular game is in okay condition. The playfield is excellent, with only small wear spots on the right inlane and one of the saucer kickouts, but it has been touched up. The flipper area, normally a problem on these games, and the whole playfield itself has been mylared from day one and is in very nice condition. The game now plays fast and furious after a complete cleaning and tune-up!!! It has also been set to Free Play, ready for you to play immediately!!!

Some of the things I do when cleaning a game include:

  • All new stainless steel balls
  • Replace all burned out lamps
  • Replace broken flashers
  • Replace or fix broken playfield devices
  • Clean entire playfield
  • Remove and clean all plastics by hand
  • Polish metal parts
  • Adjust all switches
  • Replace worn-out rubber
  • Clean entire cabinet
  • Clean backglass, back and front
  • Touch up paint where possible
  • Replace batteries on CPU
  • Extensively playtest the game to make sure it's fully working! (The best part!)

The backglass on this game is good, with one small chip on Sideshow Bob in the top corner which is not noticable unless you look for it. The cabinet sides are a bit yellow with some small marks on the side. The head has a few chips near the bottom on the head and some marks in the artwork, as well as a small crack near the top that has been somewhat fixed. The front cabinet is fairly marked up with a large hole from a hasp, and the coin door is a little bent. The displays are bright with zero burn-in.

The cabinet is not mint, but the game itself works and plays 100% and has been completely shopped.

Here are lots of pictures to show the condition of this game (sorry if some of them are a bit washed out due to the flash - playfield is very shiny!!!)

I ship games via Internet Freight and charges generally run in the $100-$200 range depending on location. There is a $60 charge for the palletizing and wrapping of the game for shipping to cover materials. I will gladly ship the game any way you choose, but Internet is generally 20-30% cheaper than other carriers!

I accept payment via money order or Billpoint - I do not accept PayPal due to their high fees. If you would like to see the game prior to making a bid, please send me an email to make an appointment. Game is located in downtown Toronto, ON, Canada.

    Thanks for looking!
